FRAMESTORE CFC BRINGS SPECTACULAR CREATURES TO LIFE IN 'PREHISTORIC PARK'

MAXON and Framestore CFC, July 28, 2006 - Framestore CFC - the largest visual effects and computer animation company in Europe - has used MAXON's 3D paint tool BodyPaint 3D to help create amazing skin textures for a slew of spectacular creatures in 'Prehistoric Park.'

The multi million pound budget series features an amazing array of awe-inspiring creatures that once walked where we are now. Sporting incredibly detailed skins painted by Framestore CFC with the assistance of state-of-the-art tools in BodyPaint 3D, these creatures will delight viewers across the globe. The jaw-dropping cast includes: a pair of baby T-rex dinosaurs; a mammoth with a daily craving for 400 pounds of grass; 300 million-year-old 'super bugs' - including three foot long scorpions and dragonflies the size of hawks, not to mention enormous prehistoric crocodiles who ate dinosaurs.

Currently airing Saturdays in the UK on ITV1, 'Prehistoric Park' is an Impossible Pictures Production for ITV in association with Animal Planet (US), ProSieben (Germany) and M6 (France). The six-part series has been snapped up by broadcasters around the world.
