While Game of Thrones has come to its fiery conclusion, the show’s VFX still stand as some of the best stuff ever created for the small screen. In fact, while the final episodes were playing out, we were finishing up our own epic battle to bring our new VFX Suite to life. And talking about GoT on our slack channels. Like a LOT.

So… In the next few episodes of Cheap Tricks, we’ll bring it all together, as Hashi shows you how to recreate many of the effects seen on the show using the VFX Suite and a ton of great tools and techniques. In this first episode, we’ll focus on 2 shots revolving around fire magic.

We’re also using a bunch of elements from ActionVFX – a huge set of stock VFX elements we use in house.
