Enter the MDC Contest with Great Prizes! Produce your own artwork with the theme ‘Cult’ to win Cinema 4D and Redshift licenses.

The Motion Designers Community is conducting a competition until the end of November, 2019, with the theme ‘Cult’. The rules are simple: Produce an animation that’s at least 5 seconds long with a resolution of 1080p or in a square format and post your work on Instagram with the hashtag #MDC_CULT.

Let your imagination go wild: you can depict anything from the customs of indigenous peoples to a mystical fantasy scenario.

The judges will select the best 3 entries from the stills and videos that are submitted and prize winners can look forward to receiving the following great prizes:

  • A permanent node-locked Redshift license (1st prize stills)
  • 12-month Cinema 4D subscription (1st prize animations)
  • 6-month Cinema 4D subscription (2nd prize animations)


The competition will run until November 30, 2019. For maximum exposure, all finalists’ projects will also be presented in a compilation video on all MDC channels (Instagram, Vimeo, YouTube, Twitter und Behance).
