What you will do:
Maxon is seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team, working on Redshift, our high-performance rendering software. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interface of Redshift, ensuring it remains an industry-leading tool for artists and designers.
- Work and design across multiple DCC's where Redshift exists to ensure a consistent experience
- Have in-depth knowledge about rendering technology and techniques that can be applied across all implementations of Redshift and future applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Execute all design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the product
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies as they relate to rendering
- Ensure that the design solutions are consistent with the Redshift brand and meet the needs of our users
What we are looking for:
- Deep understanding of rendering in one or more renderers/DCCs
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design, technical skills and experience
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions
- Very good English language skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
