Product Designer - Redshift (m/f/d)

What you will do:

Maxon is seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team, working on Redshift, our high-performance rendering software. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interface of Redshift, ensuring it remains an industry-leading tool for artists and designers.

Work and design across multiple DCC's where Redshift exists to ensure a consistent experience
Have in-depth knowledge about rendering technology and techniques that can be applied across all implementations of Redshift and future applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
Execute all design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the product
Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies as they relate to rendering
Ensure that the design solutions are consistent with the Redshift brand and meet the needs of our users

What we are looking for:

Deep understanding of rendering in one or more renderers/DCCs
Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role
Strong portfolio showcasing your design, technical skills and experience
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions
Very good English language skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
