animago AWARD 2019 Winners Several Cinema 4D artists were among the winners and nominees at this year's animago.
The animago AWARD was presented in the old congressional halls in Munich, Germany, on November 2, 2019. The independent jury members had their hands full before the event judging entries in 10 categories, ranging from Best Short Film to Best Advertising Production. A total of 193 of the entries were created using Cinema 4D. We’re very proud of the fact that several Cinema 4D artists received awards for their work or were among those nominated.
The awards presentation was hosted by Robert Hranitzky, which awarded Pascal Schelbi from the Filmakademie Baden-Würtemberg the Jury’s Prize. His short film The Beauty takes the viewer on a trip through an impressive underwater cosmos. Upon closer examination, the viewer discovers that nature has been greatly affected by humans. Cinema 4D was used as a workflow hub for the project.
Nominated in the category Best Motion Design were Parasol Island with their project Germany Trade & Invest – Germany Works and Thomas Gugel and Eugen Laitenberger with their corporate film for the fashion label Gunee Homme. At our YouTube channel you can find out more about how the Gunee Homme project was created in Cinema 4D – from Thomas Gugel himself, who was one of the featured speakers at the Maxon booth at this year’s IBC.
We are proud to congratulate all winners and nominees of this year’s animago AWARD!
