Channel Sales Account Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

What you will do:

We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager to join our EMEA sales organization.

In this role, you will bring a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a passion for Maxon's partners to drive business growth. You will leverage your self-starter mindset, channel sales skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities to enable our partner ecosystem to deliver superb Maxon solutions to our customers. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate both your professional and career growth as you work with the diverse sales organization, build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, expand geographically, contribute to the GTM strategy to boost performance, and resolve complex issues. What you will do:

  • Channel Development and Growth: You will develop and implement strategic and tactical partner business plans that align with Maxon's goals to accelerate channel business growth. You will drive indirect channel sales, ensuring that these plans effectively address both short-term and long-term objectives, align with partner needs and capabilities, and fulfill performance expectations.
  • Partner Sales and Acceleration: You will develop a go-to-market plan and sales execution tactics, lead partner pipeline reviews, and coach partners to refine their sales strategies. You will facilitate collaboration between partners and the Maxon sales organization to meet revenue targets. You will work with your partners on top opportunities, following the Maxon sales process and methodology. 
  • Partner Performance and Impact: You will be responsible for managing your partners' performance with Maxon and will be accountable for maintaining regular interactions with executive, sales, and delivery teams to identify and resolve execution blockers and achieve aligned goals. You will also drive the adoption, usage, and performance of programs and investments that contribute to channel sales.
  • Relationship Building: You will build a trusted-advisor relationship with partners and align their priorities, strategies, and goals with Maxon's to create mutually beneficial account plans and reach strategic alignment and growth.
  • Partner Skills and Capacity Building: You will lead the integration of capability and capacity plans for your partners, utilizing a mix of sales and technical training to upskill them. You will enable partners to develop high-impact Maxon offerings and practices to grow their business.
  • Advocate for Partner and Team Mobilizer: You will represent partners to Maxon stakeholders and lead the resolution of complex and urgent escalations. Additionally, you will guide Maxon teams in prioritizing partner issues and work internally to accelerate performance and execution.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of partner management, channel development, channel sales, alliances and partners, or equivalent experience in the technology industry, with a primary focus on the markets of Germany, France, and / or the UK.
  • Demonstrated success in channel value selling, including generating and managing pipelines through the partner ecosystem, accurately forecasting, and consistently meeting or exceeding channel sales goals.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate business and technical topics clearly and accurately. Proficiency in German or French is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work experience.
