Jerry Bruckheimer ('Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,' 'Black Hawk Down') produzierte mit 'King Arthur' einen eindrucksvollen Film über das sagenbehaftete Leben King Arthurs und dessen Schicksal als König.

Cinesite war verantwortlich für alle digitalen und visuellen Effekte. Eine der Hauptszenen ist der Kampf auf einem Eissee, umgeben von beeindruckenden Gebirgswänden. MAXON BodyPaint 3D wurde hierbei für die gesamten Kulissen eingesetzt und schuf somit die grandiose Atmosphäre.

Maxon's preisgekrönte Software wurde ebenfalls eingesetzt, um zahlreichen computergenerierten Objekten texturiertes Leben einzuhauchen, so z.B. einem Habicht und Teilen der angelsächsischen Armee.
