OSCARS 2015: CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR JOB, JORIS & MARIEKE The Dutch studio Job, Joris & Marieke is in the running this year with their short film 'A Single Life', which was created using Cinema 4D.

The nominations for this year's Oscar Awards were announced last week and we are very excited about Utrecht, Holland-based Job, Joris & Marieke's short film being nominated in the category 'Short Film (Animated)'!

Many of Job, Joris & Marieke's past works were characterized by their charming, imaginative stories, their unusual style, interesting music and lovingly designed characters (Mute, The Daily Drumbeat). Job, Joris & Marieke were guests at last year's Maxon user meetings in Düsseldorf and Munich and their work was praised enthusiastically by the entire Cinema 4D community.

In the typical Job, Joris and Marieke style, 'A Single Life' tells the story of Pia, who - with the help of a mysterious vinyl single - can suddenly travel back-and-forth through her life.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed for February 22, 2015 when it's announced: "And the Oscar goes to …"
