ActionVFX Releases Groundbreaking Virtual Crowds Collections New Stock Footage Collections Change the Way Productions Incorporate Virtual Crowds
Recognizing the tremendous negative impact the quarantine and social distancing guidelines put on the filmmaking industry, the team at ActionVFX were determined to provide solutions. One of the most obvious and immediate obstacles is incorporating crowds into a shoot. After consulting with many post-production studios to determine their specific needs for crowds, ActionVFX went to work to create an affordable, efficient and production-ready solution.
Today, the team at ActionVFX introduced new category, “People and Crowds” to their already massive selection of stock footage resources for VFX artists, and released the category’s first two collections: Sports Crowds and Concert Crowds. Both Crowd products include a diverse lineup of people, in 300+ clips, with shots from 15 different angles, giving production artists nearly unlimited options to implement digital crowds into any scene, no matter the perspective.
The Sports Crowds collection features sitting and standing versions of each person, in varying clothing and crowd reactions such as sitting idle, cheering, jumping up in excitement, sad in defeat, and more. All clothing was chosen specifically so that the people could be duplicated without any one person standing out.
The Concert Crowds collection features sitting and standing versions
of each person, with dancing for both upbeat and slower music to fit
various concerts. And like the Sports collection clothing was chosen for
duplication without any one person standing out.
These two new collections are immediately available on the ActionVFX website. For more information, visit the ActionVFX blog.
